8:20 – 9:00= Calendar and whole group reading of the very cranky bear.
Discuss: Characters, setting, Problem, solution, Ending.
9:00-10:00= Independent work time
• 15 minutes independent reading (on your own)
• Draw a picture of one of the characters. Remembering important images from the text of what The animal looked like. Label the drawing after.

• Students will then discuss what each animal suggested to help the cranky bear. (We will do this together.)
• Students will start to write their sight words on index cards, cardstock paper (some kind of thick paper)

• Students will then make their pictures for the animals of the very cranky bear page.

• Do Transparent and Opaque experiment.
1:20 – 2:15= Science independent work
• Small groups
• Do color everywhere activity
• Draw 4 pictures on a piece of paper and write whether they were Transparent or Opaque. Color picture and post it on seesaw. Use the mic on seesaw to explain why each was Transparent or Opaque.
2:15-2:30 = Recess
2:30 – 2:45=Whole group check in
