8:35 – 9:15= Calendar and whole group reading lesson.

9:00-10:00= Independent work time
• 15 minutes independent reading (on your own)
• Draw a picture of Elsa the elephant.
• Use a highlighter to highlight all the letter E’s in the poem.
• Do Letter Ee card.
· Small groups:
o Discuss rhyming words.
10:00-10:30= snack and recess
10:35-11:05= Writing lesson
• Writers workshop: Small moments watermelon and sticky notes.
• We will then Break off into breakout rooms to discuss what your small moment is going to be about. Talk with someone about what you are going to write about. Take turns.
• Have students begin to write for 5 minutes straight. Than spend 5 minutes drawing a picture.
• Discuss with students when you think you’re done you’ve only just begun.
11:05-12:00=
• Students will then colour their picture, and write one more sentence. Please take a picture and put it on seesaw.
• Small groups: Students will begin to write their sight words on a paper and rainbow write them
• Catch up on activities from this morning.

12:00-12:40= Lunch and Recess
12:40-1:00= Storytime With Mrs. Pirie – Discuss clues from a picture.
1:00-1:30=Science Live lesson

• Who are hero’s? What are their characteristics?
• Who are Superhero’s? What are their characteristics?
1:30 – 2:15= Science independent work
• Small groups: Reading
• Do superhero’s vs. Hero’s page.
2:15-2:30 = Whole Group Check in
2:30-3:10=
• Daily physical activity
• Office hours
• One on one meetings
